Set up Two-Factor Authentication
In order to access any Virtual Cards issued to you, you'll first need to enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on your User Profile in ProSpend by navigating to Two-Factor Authentication under Tools and enabling the function.
From here you'll then need to scan the QR code (which is unique to each User Profile) into an Authenticator app on your phone and then enter the code generated from there into the field. Once this has been completed you should hit the Submit button, and if this has been done correctly you'll see a rpompt letting you know this has been completed:
Accessing your Cards' Details
Any Virtual Cards issued to you will be visible from your “My Spend” Role within ProSpend under the “Cards” menu item:
From here you will be able to view any cards issues yo you as well as some additional information on the card. By clicking on the actual card, you'll able to see your card details, and by clicking a second time this will flip the card revealing the CVV
Below the card, you are able to click “Click to Reveal” to see the full card number, and Card PIN, which can be used to authorise those transactions where a PIN is requested
To the right of this Card Pin field and button is the Block Card button. This button can be used to instantly block your cards, in the event that the card details have been compromised and/or fraudulent transactions are noticed on the card. Please note that blocking a card is not reversible and so if this is used in error, the card will need to be reissued.
Beneath this, you can view some additional details for your card:
- Remaining Amount - This is the remaining amount from the card’s Lifetime limit, which is a limit on how much the card can be used to transact in total.
- Transaction Limit: This is the amount this card can transact up to per transaction.
- Daily Limit: This is the amount that this card can transact up to per day.
- Monthly Limit: This is the amount that this card can transact up to in a given month.
- The Scheduled Freeze date lets you know when your card will be automatically Frozen effectively pausing the use of the card until this Freeze date is extended (this will also set the limits of the card to $0 and so these will need to be reset as well).
- The next field is Status, which indicates the current status of the card:
- Active: Active cards are ready to be used
- Frozen: Frozen cards are currently not able to be used, but can be reactivated
- Blocked: Blocked cards are cards that cannot be used, and cannot be reactivated
- The phone number and address fields are to display the details set when the card was issued, these may be necessary when completing certain transactions. This is also the phone number used to authorise certain transactions requiring a One Time Password. Unfortunately these details are not able to be updated and so in an instance where these have been entered incorrectly, a new card will need to be issued.
- Transactions this month will display your month-to-date spend on the card.
- The Card Label field may be used in instances where a User has multiple cards issued to differentiate between them, or to call out their intended purpose.
