ERP Sync

ProSpend can sync suppliers, projects, project tasks and cost categories from external finance systems. The Admin user can simply click into ERP Sync under “Setup” section, choose what they want to sync and click on Update.

The system then schedules the sync and will send you an email once it is completed.

During the sync, the system creates all the new suppliers, projects, tasks or cost categories that have been created in external finance systems and/or disable the ones that have been made inactive in external finance systems.

Below is what the success or error emails will look like -

Notes for MYOB Advanced -

  • MYOB Advanced will be the master databases, so all the new suppliers, projects and tasks must be added in MYOB and then the ERP Sync function can be used to bring those items into ProSpend.
  • With the suppliers, ProSpend only brings in “Active” suppliers from MYOB. The inactive, on-hold and one-time suppliers will not be synced.
  • With the projects, ProSpend only brings in “Active” projects. The completed, suspended and canceled ones will not be synced. Also, there should be atleast one project task that is active.
  • With the project tasks, ProSpend only brings in “Active” projects. The completed, in planning and canceled ones will not be synced. They should also be visible to AP and/or GL modules within MYOB.
