How to connect your ProSpend to Xero?
- Login as admin, click on Setup and click on Integrations.
- Click on Connect to Xero.
- Login to your Xero account, choose the organisation that needs to be connected to ProSpend and click on Allow access.
- Your Xero organisation is now connected to ProSpend. This is indicated by the “Connected” status in the Integrations list.
- The Xero Organisation can be linked to one or more categories in ProSpend and all the claims linked to those categories can be exported to the linked organisation in Xero.
How to export claims from ProSpend to Xero
- Follow the instructions in the link below to finalise and put the claims in an export batch.
- On the export page, click on Send to Xero.
- Login to your Xero account. Xero will prompt you to confirm if you want to continue with your previously connected organisation. Click on Continue with 1 organisation.
- ProSpend will then start creating bills in that organisation. Once the export is completed, below is what the screen will look like. Against each claim, there will be a View Xero Bill link that takes you to the corresponding bill in Xero.
- Below is what a bill in Xero will look like. To view the claim and the document in ProSpend, you can click on Go to expense-manager link.
How to disconnect Xero connections in ProSpend?
- Login as admin, click on Setup and click on Integrations.
- Click into required Xero connection.
- Click on Disconnect.
- Once disconnected, the connection can be deleted altogether.
How to remove ProSpend connected app in Xero?

All the approved expense claims and supplier invoices will be created a draft bills in Xero.
